A man simply identified as Ahmed Ibrahim on Wednesday was reportedly killed by a police officer after a brief money argument in Kebbi State.
Malam Jabir, the deceased’s brother who confirmed this in a post on his official X handle on Thursday morning said the tragic incident happened in the Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
Posting a photo of the deceased, Jabir wrote, “This is Ahmed Ibrahim. He’s my blood brother. He was killed by a police officer yesterday in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State as a result of a minor disagreement (money-related issues).
“The boy was very hardworking and respectful. He was a real hustler, always striving to improve his life, but he was killed by a police officer.”
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
However, the state police command has yet to confirmed the incident.
