Aggrieved communities in the Illela Local Government Area and its environ sharing borders with Niger Republic have expressed sadness over the nonchalant behaviours of human rights commission as it remined silent over the terrorist attacks on some Communities in the area.
This is as a result of fresh attack of Danbar-Dikko village in Danba ward where attackers burnt the community including villagers locally made food stuffs, Silos and other properties worth million of naira were destroyed.
An eyewitness revealed that the bandits killed two persons and abducts four women in the community.
The Local Government Sole Administrator, Hon Sahabi Wakili who confirmed the incident also blamed the human right organisations for their non chalant attitude toward ensuring justice prevail and curtail the incident.
Hon. Wakili pointed out that this was the second time the bandit will be attacking the village where many people died as a result of the incident.
However, the community have written a petition in which they complained to the human right organisations,lawyers ,police and other authorities seeking for Justice on the perpetrators of the attacks.
The community who alleged that the attack on the Dambar- Dikko was organised by a Fulani bandit spearheaded by the group gang leader popularly known as Kachalla Bube .
According to them the human right organisations deliberately refused to attend to their complain on the activities of the Kachalla Bube who was the prime suspect of inviting and attacking Hausa community in the area.
“The so-called human rights organisation were in the habit of responding to issues of security challenges as it relates to Bube and his cohorts “.
“They seriously give the suspects any legal and humanitarians support while denied such rights to the other people in the community”.
