The Reinstated 16th Fulani Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, is gaining ground as the deposed Emir of Gaya, Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir on Sunday accepted the removal and expressed readiness to serve in any new capacity.

Abdulkadir who spoke on his acceptance of his removal from the position attributed it to the will of God in Kano.

The former Emir was one of five first-class kings affected by the Kano State government’s repeal of a law that previously divided the Kano Emirate and elevated their positions.

In a BBC Hausa interview, Alhaji Abdulkadir emphasized his lack of animosity towards anyone involved in the decision.

He also affirmed his intention to refrain from legal challenges and expressed his openness to serving in a different capacity if offered the opportunity.
